Bonjour! Hey guys, its me again. Just here to drop by another poem me's wrote ^.^ Here it is!

My Days Are Numbered, But So Are Yours

They claimed that this feeling would last forever,

Then accused us of not loving enough.

They assumed that I would never be the clever,

They knew that this life would always be tough.

You promised that my heart would "go on and on",

You said that this feeling would never fray.

You assumed time would freeze at the breaking of dawn.

You knew all along that this would never stay.

I should've known it was all pretend,

Of course we loved too much.

I figured that it was bound to end,

That here we would part and such.

Of course I knew that time would still be ticking.

Of course I felt this feeling leave.

Of course I knew that this was mine for the picking.

Of course I knew I could never believe.

Since the last time our lips met,

I cursed you with all my heart for loving me.

You never even paid your debt,

So what makes you think that I'd let you go so easily.

So, here's to the fatal goodbye,

When you finally close the doors.

Be sure you hear me cry,

"My days are numbered, but so are yours!"
