Ello Bloggers and Bloggies! Sorry I haven't updated in quite a while! Well here is one of my most recent poems. Hope you like it!
It's Midnight
She Licks her wound clean;
Her thumping heart leaves that burning sensation.
She still doesn't know what this means.
She tries and fails; she can't resist temptation.
Her scars burn quite deepishly;
Her eyes do nothing but linger.
She glances up and smiles sheepishly,
And to her mouth, she places a finger.
There are so many unanswered questions,
Yet there is so little time.
You'd think by now she'd learn her lesson.
What she's doing is without a doubt a crime.
Her feline figure slinks away.
COME ON, there must be a reason why,
She does this task day by day,
And when she's done, she sits here to cry.
